MYSTERY WALK
September 2024
74 members went for a mystery walk through the Erddig parkland followed by
some celebratory refreshments at the opening of our new storage container.
NATIONAL TRUST LONG SERVICE VOLUNTEERING AWARDS

Congratulations to three of our leaders who were presented with their volunteer long service awards by the National Trust at Erddig last night. Martyn and Hayley with 5 years and Dave with 10.
LLYN BRENIG

What a great day we had a Llyn Brenig! 42 walkers split into two groups - one group doing the Circular Lake Walk of just under 10 miles; the other following the Elorgarreg Trail of 5+ miles in the lovely scenery of the Clwydian hills. Just an early short shower otherwise perfect walking weather. Well done everyone.
MAWDDACH TRAIL
May 2024
The Mawddach Trail never fails to impress. 50 members enjoyed walking along this spectacular estuary starting in Dolgellau and finishing by crossing the iconic railway bridge into Barmouth. Great walking weather.

PIER TO PIER WALK
April 2024
Our annual away day pier-to-pier walk in which a large group of members walked the 6 mile stretch from Colwyn Bay to Llandudno at a good pace. A great time was had by all.
POLICE AND COMMUNITY TRUST AWARD
March 2024
The Police & Crime Commissioner North Wales, Andy Dunbobbin,
the High Sheriff of Clwyd, Kate Hill-Trevor and PCSO Alison Heron joined the walking group today
at Erddig Hall following our success in winning a grant from the
Police and Community Trust "Your Community Your Choice" fund.Â
This money will go towards away days and other special events for the group.
SNOWDROP WALK CHIRK CASTLE
February 2024
35 walkers enjoyed a walk around the gardens and paths at Chirk Castle in glorious winter sunshine
to see one of the best displays of snowdrops in Wales.
ANNUAL AWARDS LUNCH

A very enjoyable walk around the park at Erddig for 50 walkers followed by our annual awards lunch in the Hayloft restaurant.
CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION AT ERDDIG HALL

Seventy members walked around the park at Erddig in glorious winter sunshine followed by
mulled wine, mince pies and carols in the timberyard. And Santa delivered bucket hats!
REVERSE GROTTO DONATIONS

Members of our walking group gave very generously to the National Trust Reverse Grotto events at Erddig Hall and Chirk Castle in aid of the Wrexham Foodbank.
