LLYN BRENING AWAY DAY
Thursday 17th September
Join us for our away day at Llyn Brenig and enjoy forest, moorland and lakes amid stunning upland scenery at the foot of the Clwydian hills.
There will be a choice of two walks. A 5 mile trail following the Elorgarreg route or the longer Two Lakes walk of 8 miles around Llyn Bening and Llyn Alwen. Both are moderate with plenty of stops along the way, so bring a picnic and plenty to drink. Whichever you choose there will be spectacular views and you may also be lucky to see Llyn Brenig’s ospreys.
There will be time to visit the café overlooking the lake after the walk for a welcome cuppa ((last orders for hot food at 3 pm).
The bus will leave Wrexham around 9 am and we arrive back at about 6 pm. The cost for this event is £10 – in an envelope would be great. Bookings start at Erddig on Saturday, 15th August.
